Yes, i.e., "The bird was within eyeshot of the bird watcher." I've heard the term "ear" shot, but I've never heard eye shot. I would just use the word "view", but that okay by me. Okay, you say... "Shot" I say... Put

I write the first thing that enters my mind, so I guess I think in phrases and terms. When I hear "Schedule" the first thing I thought was.... "Busy"
