What is it doing raining here in California in May? It was raining all night, more to come, and it's supposed to be raining all weekend. >

Today is the first warm day we've had in a while. high 80 low 70. That means walking in the morning.

I'm not an expert so I really don't know, but I would have thought it better now because dry grass and bush are what feed the fires, so I would think that if the weather is rainy it would allow things to turn green and lessen the ability of the fire to spread as quick and far making it a little better to control and/or contain?

It was explained why, but I forgot how it actually contributes to the fire. Something about more vegetation that dries up, I think.
