Really, ???...I thought for sure you'd catch on to that photo; ever since we've been talking about a 'Rice & veggie' diet for our pets for over 2 days now! LOL
What's been interesting about this rare breed; some time a couple of years ago there was a huge stink in NYC about some odd looking fake raccoon pelts/coats showing up on the clothing/trade shows...and trying to trace the product origins was hitting a road block. Sure the assumption was it was most likely coming from China or Russia but nobody was able to find a source...seemed like 'REAL PELT' but it just didn't have the true characteristics of 100% raccoon --- this could well be the breed and a large complex hidden somewhere in China or Russia is breeding them/selling pelts as pure Raccoon for the market value.

Ah, so it's rice and veggies. But that species probably doesn't eat meat.
I fixed boiled chicken, white rice and cooked carrots for my dogs yesterday and it gave the stray a bit of a soft stool.
Maybe I didn't put enough rice.

Any change in their diet will effect their next few fecal piles; don't become upset unless it becomes a runny mess --- their bodies go through a detox process too.
But any 'orange' colored veggie: sweet potato/cantaloupe/carrots will have that same impact on human digestive system...if you're concerned about any one specific thing that 'carrot' additive might be the #1 to cut back on and make it a table spoon added per dog dish at any given time. Until they're tummies become acclimated to the new diet regime.
Over all - how was it; more hassle then you though or went smoother then envisioned?
