I watch this show whenever I have the TV on in the morning. The early seasons are fantastic. It's weird that the show transitioned to color when Don Knotts left the show. It's a good indicator of when the show started to go downhill if you ask me.
There are episodes without Knotts that I enjoy but the show isn't consistently good as it was. In fact the best episodes in late in the show is when he returns for some one offs. The show just wasn't the same without him around.

IMO, the show jumped the shark after Don Knotts left. He really made the show, IMO. It makes me sad to think most 60s TV stars are gone now.

I have a stack of DVD's of Andy of Mayberry and Almost as many of the Beverly Hillbillies. I enjoy watching them at night in bed it's relaxing.

In my bedroom I have cable tv as well as antenna tv. I watch Me-TV every night. One thing I never miss is Green Acres. I know it's silly but I still enjoy it.
