Poncho had a history of a heart murmur. Towards his last years, due to the medication, that little guy developed seizures.
This led to his death.
ðŸ˜
I am broken hearted over this!

maya7777777 , did he say what Poncho died of? Where was the dog sitter? Wasn't she watching him? I'm sorry this guy's dog died, but do you people realize PEOPLE are dying around the world from a pandemic. Four members of one family have died in this country and others in that family are in critical condition still, and there hasn't been a single word of sympathy about it here. Good grief!

Four members of one family have died in this country and others in that family are in critical condition still, and there hasn't been a single word of sympathy about it here. Good grief! I have a Chihuahua who looks similar to the one in my avatar. She, like Poncho, has a heart murmur and is on medication. I know I'm facing the same situation eventually. I love her, so her death will affect me more than those four strangers. So f*ck you! There are several threads dedicated to the pandemic which is being reported on 24/7. What the f*ck does it matter to you if a popular YouTube dog is mentioned and people feel sad for him too, and that it's mentioned here out of several threads about the pandemic? There is something wrong with assholes like you who equate empathy for animals as having none for people, as if one must negate the other. When you see his death on the news 24/7, then you can worry that it means more than the pandemic, you heartless moron. If there is anything wrong with a person, it's the person who dismisses any other human emotion that isn't dedicated to people only as some kind of defect. No, it's THEM (you) who are defective. Some of us have the capacity to care about all life and all of God's creatures. Mentioning what animals are going through in this world doesn't take any damned thing away from any human. It's the treatment of animals in China that may have created this virus in the first place. If you don't think animals are important to people and to the planet, then there's something wrong with you. Why don't you move to China? You'll love how they treat dogs there. Pets are a part of the family to many people. I sincerely hope you don't have any. And another thing, a person who doesn't have the capacity to care about animals probably doesn't care that much about people either.

I just lost one our beloved cats we had for 12 years a month ago. I don't mention things like that here because I don't look for sympathy. I just took our dog for an hour-long walk along, with my brother-in-law's German shepherd. They aren't able to walk him at the moment for reasons I don't need to go into. Poncho the Chihuahua is no more important than your Chihuahua or my animals. Be offended if you want.

You're the one who was offended because the dog got a mention here instead of those four people who got air time on the national news. If it makes you feel less offended, the topic is in the proper board 'Pets & Animals' and not competing with 'people' topics on the other boards.
