No matter how life began on earth, it seems indisputable that the universe set up the conditions for life. But a radical twist has now been offered by the prominent stem-cell biologist Robert Lanza and theoretical physicist Matej Pavšič in their deliberately startling new book, The Grand Biocentric Design. As Lanza bluntly declares in the book’s introduction, “Life is not a product of the universe but the other way around.” Lanza calls this theory “biocentrism,” which he introduced in his 2010 book of the same name.On the face of it, saying that life created the universe is preposterous as long as the Big Bang and all the accepted steps leading to the creation of earth are true. Yet what if they are just the assumptions of a current scientific model or paradigm? By definition, a paradigm shift calls into question the rock-solid assumptions on which the previous paradigm rests.Biocentrism aims to topple any version of reality based on physicalism, the doctrine in science that roots reality in physical objects from quarks to galaxies and on to multiple universes. Physicalism created the modern world of science and technology. But having reached the horizon where time, space, matter and energy come into existence, physicalism reached a dead end. This was (and still is) the last thing anyone expected. In place of a crowning, all-embracing Theory of Everything, investigators found themselves faced with logic-defying questions.www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/deepak-chopra-did-life-create-universe-143357319.html

Michio Kaku says the big bang is still banging. At this time there is mostly energy moving through the supermassive black hole in the adjoining 5 dimensional universe. The formation of the supermassive black hole in that parallel universe sparked the big bang that started our 4 dimensional universe.

The Brahman model of the universe says that the universe is the dream of Brahma and that when Brahma awakens the universe ends. This is a sort of life centered creation.

I think I'll ask Mike to respond to this thread. All I'll say is it reminds me of the 'which came first - the chicken or the egg?' question

Some think of the Earth as a living entity. Mother Earth comes to mind. Mother Nature is another. Some think of the Sun as a living entity. Perhaps a supermassive black hole could be thought of as a very powerful entity that other entities merge with. They circle it many times before finally merging with it. It reminds me of disciples circling a religious entity.
"they each one proceeded to the wonderful tower of seven treasures suspended in the sky where Many Treasures Thus Come One and Shakyamuni Buddha were. On reaching it, they turned to the two World-Honored Ones, bowed their heads and made obeisance at their feet. They also all performed obeisance to the Buddhas seated on lion thrones underneath the jeweled trees. Then they circled around to the right three times, pressed their palms together in a gesture of respect, utilizing the bodhisattvas' various methods of praising to deliver praises, and then took up a position to one side, gazing up in joy at the two World-Honored Ones."
"Thereupon King Wonderful Adornment, accompanied by his ranks of ministers and his attendants; his queen Pure Virtue and all the ladies-in-waiting and attendants of the women's quarters; and the king's two sons and their forty-two thousand attendants, all at the same time went to where the Buddha was. Arriving there, they bowed their heads to the ground in obeisance to his feet, circled around the Buddha three times, and then withdrew and stood to one side.
"When [Bodhisattva Universal Worthy] arrived in the midst of Mount Gridhrakuta in the saha world, he bowed his head to the ground in obeisance to Shakyamuni Buddha, circled around him to the right seven times, and said to the Buddha: 'World-Honored One, when I was in the land of the Buddha King Above Jeweled Dignity and Virtue, from far away I heard the Lotus Sutra being preached in this saha world. In company with this multitude of immeasurable, boundless hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, millions of bodhisattvas I have come to listen to and accept it. I beg that the World-Honored One will preach it for us. And good men and good women in the time after the Thus Come One has entered extinction--how will they be able to acquire this Lotus Sutra?"
"And I see Buddha sons who have never once slept, who keep circling through the forest diligently seeking the Buddha way. And I see those who observe the precepts, no flaw in their conduct,"
"Their grandfather, who was a wheel-turning sage king, along with a hundred chief ministers, as well as hundred, thousand, ten thousand, million of his subjects, all together surrounded the sons and followed to the place of practice, all wishing to draw close to the Great Universal Wisdom Excellence Thus Come One, to offer alms, pay honor, venerate and praise him. When they arrived. They touched their heads to the ground and bowed before his feet. When they had finished circling the Buddha, they pressed their palms together with a single mind, gazed up in reverence at the World-Honored One, and recited these verses of praise, saying:
"At once the Brahma kings touched their heads to the ground and bowed before the Buddha, circled around him a hundred thousand times, and took the heavenly flowers and scattered them over the Buddha. The flowers they scattered piled up like Mount Sumeru.
Muslims walk around the 'Kaaba' in Mecca during Hajj or Umrah and when they visit the mosque. This in Arabic is called 'Tawaf' or circumambulation. They move together in one direction in a circular fashion to symbolize their belief in and worship of the one true God, Allah.

There is a school of thought that says that all life is connected and that everything is alive, even objects that seem to be inanimate.
There is a channel on YouTube by a man named Matias De Stefano who has a show on the GAIA channel. He's known as 'the man who remembers everything', because he claims to remember all his past lives and the beginning of the planet. He says that Earth is alive and that all life on the planet is a part of the Earth's life. So we are like 'cells' on Earth's body according to him. All the animal life are like its organs, etc.

Buddhism says that "life is inherent in the Universe", and whenever the conditions are right, life will appear.

If you think of God as being synonymous with the universe and more, then you are getting close to the Brahman concept of Brahma. The belief that the universe is the dream of Brahma and that when Brahma awakens the universe ends. It becomes close to the expression "Reality is a dream within a dream."

It could have been seeded by the common ancestor of Apes and Humans, or seeded with the common ancestor of Apes and Humans. The similarity of the DNA would not be there if it had been DNA from some other planet. Then there is the similarity of other species to Human DNA. Now fungi are quite different. It is possible that mushrooms were seeded by spores from another planet. Britannica says "fungi are clearly distinguished from all other living organisms"
"Living spores have been found and collected in every level of earth’s atmosphere. Mushroom spores are electron-dense and can survive in the vacuum of space. Additionally, their outer layer is actually metallic and of a purple hue, which naturally allows the spore to deflect ultraviolet light. And as if all this wasn’t unique enough, the outer shell of the spore is the hardest organic compound to exist in nature."

Tardigrades (Water Bears) are another candidate for being aliens. They can potentially live forever. "Scientists have sequenced the entire genome of the tardigrade, AKA the water bear, for the first time. And their results suggest that this weird little creature has the most foreign genes of any animal studied so far – or to put it another way, roughly one-sixth of the tardigrade's genome was stolen from other species. We have to admit, we're kinda not surprised."
A little background here for those who aren’t familiar with the strangeness that is the tardigrade – the microscopic water creature grows to just over 1 mm on average, and is the only animal that can survive in the harsh environment of space. It can also withstand temperatures from just above absolute zero to well above the boiling point of water, can cope with ridiculous amounts of pressure and radiation, and can live for more than 10 years without food or water. Basically, it's nearly impossible to kill, and now scientists have shown that its DNA is just as bizarre as it is.
So what's foreign DNA and why does it matter that tardigrades have so much of it? The term refers to genes that have come from another organism via a process known as horizontal gene transfer, as opposed to being passed down through traditional reproduction.
Horizontal gene transfer occurs in humans and other animals occasionally, usually as a result of gene swapping with viruses, but to put it into perspective, most animals have less than 1 percent of their genome made up of foreign DNA. Before this, the rotifer – another microscopic water creature – was believed to have the most foreign genes of any animal, with 8 or 9 percent.
But the new research has shown that approximately 6,000 of the tardigrade’s genes come from foreign species, which equates to around 17.5 percent.
“We had no idea that an animal genome could be composed of so much foreign DNA,” said study co-author Bob Goldstein, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. “We knew many animals acquire foreign genes, but we had no idea that it happens to this degree.”
Update 10 December 2015: A separate team of researchers in Scotland has also sequenced the tardigrade genome, and found at most 500 genes from foreign species. They concluded that the original researchers might have inadvertently sequenced DNA from bacteria living alongside the tardigrades. Further research is needed to confirm just how foreign the water bear's genome really is.
