and when they get caught,,,they have a rap sheet as long as their arm. whoever signs a release or a parole for the scum should be held responsible for whatever the thug does. like co-signing a loan. see how many they release after that. If Steve Bannon committed any crimes, he has no one to blame but himself for any consequences he has to suffer. And using another criminal's situation is no defense. I tried that once in traffic court. I told the judge, "Yeah, I was speeding. But I wasn't the only one. But the cop only stopped me. Those other speeders didn't get a ticket or fine. I shouldn't either." Didn't help.

Maybe I should try that next time I get a traffic ticket, "But, but, but whatabout Hunter Biden?"

Hunter Biden and Steve Bannon are two different people. Hunter Biden's charges are different than Steve Bannon's charges. The prosecutors and defense attorneys are different. The judges and juries are different. Oranges and apples.

Steve Bannon, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, was sentenced Friday to serve four months behind bars after defying a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols allowed Bannon to stay free pending appeal and also imposed a fine of $6,500 as part of the sentence. Bannon was convicted in July of two counts of contempt of Congress: one for refusing to sit for a deposition and the other for refusing to provide documents.www.apnews.com/article/capitol-siege-steve-bannon-congress-donald-trump-sentencing-36d412eba9e1609a030859852378ae3d

That's what happens to people who break the law. All the Jan 6th attackers were given plea deals. With the option of going to trial. Most took the deal. Some went to trial, and were found guilty. Nothing out of the ordinary. Basic judicial process.
