I don't see anyone from the GOP who could beat Hillary in 2016, as abysmal as she has been as SS, and even with Benghazi hanging over her head.
I don't like Rand Paul (keep calling him Paul Rand); can't stand Chris Christie, and don't know too much about Ted Cruz. I don't like Marco Rubio either.
*sigh*

Well, I'm not so sure Hillary will get the Dem nod, either. If she did, I'm not sure I would support her. Say what you will about Obama, his campaign flung a lot of mud at her in 2008. I'm not sure she can come back from that.
Whoever runs off against her in 2016 doesn't have to spend a ton of money investigating. As much as you love to point out Obama's 'lack of experience' for POTUS, the fact is, he didn't have much 'dirt' in his history, which served him well vs. Hillary.
The Repubs were up sh*ts creek in 2008. What will be fascinating is how they 'rebrand' their politics moving forward.

Oh, Obama had PLENTY of dirt in his history. He just had the entire media (except Fox News) covering up for him. His entire past has been whitewashed and fabricated.
Have you ever heard of a former student of his coming out to describe the kind of teacher he was? Supposedly he was a law professor, yet there is no record of him ever being one.

Well, perhaps this guy is an example of why the Republicans are becoming a nut cult rather than the serious political party they once were. Nowadays the Republicans are dominated by bigots and lunatics and it's very sad.
As someone with a passion for history overall the Republicans have done far more to benefit the people of the US than the Democrats but they've become a bunch of loopers where guys like this can even get elected!

OMG. You insinuate FOX is the only reliable News source. You really don't know the difference between 'news' and editorial', do you? I will guarantee you 80% or better of your favorite FOX 'narratives' are based on stories broken by the dreaded 'mainslime media', particularly the NYT, CBS, and Reuters. FOX then puts their not very subtle 'spin' on the story, and presents it to their angry, yes, angry base of followers as news. Case in point, last nite. Shepard Smith, whom I like, opened his evening news show with this statement (paraphrased): "In the news tonite, President Obama contemplates an illegal air strike against Syria". 1) I agree with this 2) I never once heard the word 'illegal' on any FOX leader board in reference to the war in Iraq, or waterboarding. No, that was 'enhanced interrogation', and they usually trotted out the lawyers who wrote the loophole in order to explain 'why' it was 'legal'. FOX is 'op ed'. They are not 'news'. My point stands. Obama didn't have a history to defile. FOX and the whole 'right wing radio entertainment business' bought into this and slew Hillary, figuring they couldn't beat her. Hard right Repubs bare a small level of responsibility when it comes to President Obama. As the old saying goes, "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it". As a broad generalization, i think you are referring to 'progressives', which doesn't have much to do with the Republican Party anymore. There are mainstream progressives out there, under both parties. McCain, Romney, H Clinton and John Kerry come to mind. However, as you say, the 'squeaky wheel' known as the hard right continue to make the Republicans road to national dominance difficult. sh*t, the works of Charles Darwin are still largely denied in the conservative bubble, while they espouse a political philosophy catering solely to "Alpha Males" (euphemism here). Anyone seeing any irony? I sure as sh*t do.

as we used to say in the submarine service: get your sh*t in one sock. www.law.uchicago.edu/media the university of Chicago law school is the most conservative in the country. moreover, they hire on the basis of talent not on the basis of achieving racial/ethnic/lifestyle "diversity" which is the norm at just about all other first tier law schools. the conclusions are that Obama was in fact a member of the university of Chicago law school teaching faculty and that he was exceptionally brilliant by dint of getting hired in the first place.

That doesn't disprove what I said. Fabricating a resume on that scale would involve entries like that.
Find any comments from his former students about him?
Btw, as you are a veteran, I'm flabbergasted that you are an Obama supporter...especially now that he wants to attack Syria when there is no proof Assad used chemical weapons and it may very well have been the rebels he wants to aid that used them, and even Putin is upstaging him.
